Benefits for Customers:
- Accident Protection: This warranty covers accidental breakage during the use of rented equipment.
- Theft Protection: Theft of the equipment during your stay, even outside the subscriber's business, is covered.
- Preferential Conditions: In case of breakage or theft of the rented equipment, customers benefit from preferential conditions and will only pay the amount corresponding to the deductible. (See details in the GTC)
Each service is chargeable and can be added at the online checkout stage on our website, at the rates in effect at that time (which vary depending on the store and the period).
The customer has the option, during their booking, to insure the rented equipment against damage (total or partial damage to the ski equipment), destruction, or disappearance (total or partial theft) in the following cases:
- In case of BREAKAGE during their use by the renters.
- In case of THEFT occurring outside the subscriber's business.
The warranty can be purchased at the time of booking on the website or in-store. In all cases, the following conditions apply:
- The Warranty does not cover forgetting, loss, or substitution of the ski equipment during the stay.
- The Warranty is personal and only applies to a single incident per stay.
- In-store, it can only be purchased at the time of equipment collection and cannot be added later.
- Under no circumstances can the warranty be refunded.
If subscribing to the Breakage and Theft Warranty, the Customer may obtain a preferential rate for the deductible payment in case of breakage or theft of their equipment. The cost of the warranty to be paid is determined based on the category of equipment reserved by the customer according to the rates indicated in our GTC.
Customer Obligations in the Event of a Claim:
- In case of theft of ski equipment, the customer must provide the Rental Shop with the original theft report issued by the gendarmerie or police services, as well as the identity document of the person concerned by the theft and, if different, the identity document of the person who made the reservation.
- In case of damage to the ski equipment, the customer must return the damaged equipment to the Rental Shop; the equipment must be recognizable and complete.
